Mankato East is very grateful for the assistance that the Mankato Clinic Foundation has given through the years.  They have supplied the funding for all of the ImPACT concussion tests and also recently Mankato East received a grant that allows the Athletic Training staff to use iPad's for tracking of their medical records.

The Mankato Clinic Foundation awards grant to Mankato East High School
Thanks to the Mankato Clinic Foundation, Mankato East High School is receiving $2,000 to be used for providing iPads to the Athletic Trainers for more comprehensive record keeping for their student-athletes.
We are very excited to receive this grant to further expand the health and safety of the student-athletes at Mankato East High School.  Adding this new technology will provide an easier method of record keeping, and reduce the time it takes to provide appropriate documentation.  Technological difficulties have caused problems using the CORE-AT EMR system in the past, and we are thrilled that adding the iPad’s will allow us to use the system to its full potential.
Mankato East High School has contracted with the Orthopaedic and Fracture Clinic for over 20 years to provide Athletic Trainers to their student-athletes.  This commitment has grown over the years and Mankato East earned the NATA Safe Sports School Award in 2013.  With this iPad initiative it will help continue to provide the best healthcare for their student-athletes.
The Mankato Clinic Foundation provides resources to organizations and endeavors that effectively promote and improve community health and wellness. Since the primary focus of the Foundation is to support the health and well-being of the community, projects and programs supported include education and scholarships initiatives focused on health care, health education and wellness.
The physicians at the Mankato Clinic provide the majority of the Foundation funding as a means to give back to the community by providing support to organizations which strive to improve health and wellness.  Grants are awarded on a quarterly basis and are considered only through the application process.  Applications can be obtained at
